Montessori Resources

When it comes to finding the Montessori resources you want in your home, it can be hard to find exactly what you are looking for! Sometimes you want just the right cutting board for a 3 year old, and none of the options you’ve seen quite fit the bill. Or maybe you are looking for homeschool materials without breaking the bank. An example of a sentence a child has placed symbols over

Montessori Grammar Symbols: These symbols are used to illustrate which part of speech words are. Typically, students will take a pre-written sentence and place the appropriate symbols above each word.

Planners: These are the planners I use when planning lessons and recording work for my own kids. I like simple and easy to read. I take the info from the pages and plug it into my record keeping.

Elementary Work Plan

Elementary Planner / Work Plan: For accountability, as well as life skills, I always have students use some sort of planner to record their work. Some students like to spend a few minutes in the morning planning their day. Others find it easier to write things as they go. An upper elementary student may want to have many sheets available ahead of time to plan long term projects. For lower elementary, I usually keep the planner on a clipboard with any unfinished work.

*This document is 3 pages: The first two can be printed double sided to save paper. The 3rd page leaves the subject areas blank. If you need something a more customized, let me know!*

Homeschool Downloads

Downloads can be a huge help in lowering the cost of Montessori homeschool materials. These are NOT affiliate links unless noted.

  • The Montessori Mommy – Teachers Pay Teachers – This is my personal page on Teachers Pay Teachers. Anything I create for my own children, I upload here.
  • Teachers Pay Teachers – The main TpT site. There are so many creative teachers and homeschoolers willing to share their hard work for a low price, or even for free!
  • Montessori Album – This is a compilation of many downloads as well as lessons on presenting the materials.
  • Trillium Montessori – Lots of activity ideas and printables (free and paid) for both Montessori teachers and homeschoolers.
  • Montessori Print Shop – Many downloadable Montessori activities. They have a good selection of free materials and many more inexpensive paid content. Most materials are geared toward ages 3-6.
  • Montessori for Everyone – This is one of my favorite resources for pdf Montessori materials. It is very similar to Montessori Print Shop.
